New Age of Banking?

Posted: April 16, 2013 in Uncategorized

New Age of Banking.

This morning I got up made a coffee and started looking over my emails as I always do. That is what I do so I don’t miss something I shouldn’t. And did I get, in my opinion, an awesome invite from a good friend and business associate to check this pre-launch info about a new private baking system that is being offered. I started looking into it and the more I liked the concept.

Here is the intro I received from my friend,

UPB 3

UPB 2

Now none of that threw me off as I am a Marketer, network and otherwise. I have and do, been in several industries right now.  I make my living that way, quite a good living I might add.

So I liked the networking aspect of it, I liked the globalness of it and I really liked the word PRIVATE in the name of this bank.

As I looked further this is also what I learned,

The Universal Private Banking is an international financial institution specializing in investment and wealth management that is launching the first worldwide bank in network marketing.
When you register, you will have an opportunity to have a bank account with the exclusive UNIVERSAL PRIVATE BANKING MASTERCARD delivered to your address and you can use it in more than 210 countries without restrictions, with the unique advantages of the Universal Fortune system.

Further to this there is a benefit to sharing this bank with others, in the form of a referral/affiliate or network marketing form of  a compensation plan.

There is a lot more information on the website  which I will provide  a link to. Check it out for yourself see if it something you want to get involved in.

The More It Works The Better I Like It

I know I just posted a blog yesterday about building a rapport with someone first before you drop you big sales bomb on them. But I have to say it is the “bomb”! And in this the bomb is a good thing.

Yesterday I blogged under the title of “Why cant you get anyone to join you??”. And in the blog I was talking about how to ease people into joining you with a small win first. I have learned that you need to introduce them to a small ticket sell item that people will find a good value from so they can feel good about doing business with you. Image

I been studying the secrets of online selling for a while now, and that is one of the more prevailent concepts in the industry. The reasoning is that the people you are meeting online do not know you at all. So to come right out with your primary business “buy now” it’s only $200, $300 or $400 or even more dollars get in, join me now will blow most people out. Sure you may get lucky and get maybe 1 in 1000 to jump in with you, but those are long odds. Not to mention the exstensive contacts lists you would need to acquire or purchase to blast through those numbers.

So the thinking is if you can have a good value low cost introductory item to present to people, they, your new contacts can try the water with you for just a few dollars. If your low cost product or introductory opportunity is of good value or a quick return on investment, now they have faith in you and/or your ability.  So now when you want to approach them with your primary idea they are much more receptive to your concept because you have previously shown them value and/or earnings already.

I know myself I am going to be more willing to listen to some one who has already shown me how to make money when he/she wants to show something new. I have experienced that personally, the people I have done business with that I have a favourable outcome with I am more apt to join again. The same is also true for those that I have shown opportunities to, the ones that got in with me and made money will join me again and those that did not, seem to never be home when I call.

So find your thing that is of good value and of low cost that most people will benefit from the use of or exposure to and start to make your online millions today.

If you are stuck for something like I was feel free to use the one I do.

All the best to you!!

Why Can’t You Get Anybody To Join You!!

That is an amazing question.  I believe it needs some serious consideration. I have been suffering with this problem too, and wanted to know the answers. Then it came to me, like a beacon of light.

Let’s just clarify this quickly first. I don’t mean that you can’t get anybody to join you in your business, we can all get some. But it is typically a slow and hard process for most networkers. Now you may be the exception and seem to sign people all day every day, but that is not the norm.
I knew it couldn’t be me, personally, I am a decent sort, you know honest, hard working, dedicated etc… like most of us are. I knew it couldn’t be my business opportunities because they have too many success stories for them to be flawed.  So it wasn’t me, and it wasn’t the business, so what could it be.
And then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Success! That was the missing ingredient! People like to join people who have shown them success! I don’t mean “Look at ME!!” either. The people that have followed me have been the ones that have made money with me in the past and want to do it again. So then the question became “how do I get new people to join me?” And I struggled with that for awhile.
Until I found my solution to this problem. It was in the form a very low cost business that has a very quick return on investment/profit success business model. You see people could join this business for a measly $25 with Zero/admin fees or any other additional costs. And with the structure of this business having a 2×2 “follow you” matrix no matter were they join you in the matrix or how long it takes them to find their two people, as a business leader, you could put some people under them and they will make money. NOW YOU ARE A FREAKIN’ HERO!!

399411_10152633723460182_1583895115_n
When you help people make money/experience success and then suggest a new business they could join you in as well, “your primary business”, now they will be more willing to follow you. Because you have proven yourself a legitimate successful business leader. So that was the missing ingredient to your ultimate success. Success itself! Even just on a small quick scale.
Now that you have taught the new person what success feels like they will want more. And they will do the same thing you taught them. They will get their new people to join the quick low cost/risk opportunity get some fast success, and then they well most likely get their new people to join them in their main business too which just so happens to be your primary one  also!!
I hope this helps you to build a massive business. Oh what’s that? You want to know the name of this low cost/risk quick success business? Okay! Here is the link for you:

Low Cost Success Opp!

Join it! Your success starts here!! Got questions? My number is on the link.

HOLY COW!! Those are some pretty big cuts coming!

I don’t know if you have had a chance to keep up on the news. I was listening to news story yesterday on CBC Radio, Canada’s official news radio, which stated that America was going to make some massive cuts in government spending. I was blown away by the size of the cuts.

85 Billion dollars to be cut from government spending. They are cutting from the federal budget. These cuts are going to be across the board, so no service sector will be spared. They are anticipating 750,000 jobs will be cut. These are all good paying positions.

I remember people saying to me, get yourself a good secure government job, you will be set for life. I guess that reasoning is no good anymore. It goes to show how trying these times are.

Three quarter of a million jobs gone just like that, good paying jobs with benefits and retirement packages. The drop in supporting businesses revenue may result in further layoffs. Not to mention the loose of the disposable income that these jobs provided into the communities.

The real lesson here is that you cannot count on any type of job for security anymore. People will just have to wake up to the idea that you must provide your own security in life. Working for someone else, though easy to do, have zero security. When things get tough they will cut you from the bottom line to persevere. It is just common business practices and the government are just now learning the lesson.

So what is a person to do? Well the number one best solution is to start a business of your own. A home based business is the best type to start as the start up cost is typically smaller than conventional business start ups. Not to mention the overhead required before you can realize a profit is very small with home based businesses.

I have been in home based businesses now for several years and have added quite nicely to my annual income streams. Not to mention the tax savings that a business affords you. By building a home based business I have diversified my income streams. So if my conventional business slows down, which it does from time to time, I don’t sweat it as I have a  couple of other sources of income coming in.

These home based businesses have allowed to get virtually debt free, live just a little better on a day to day bases.  We seem to run out of month now before we run out of money. It has allowed us to afford several vacations a year. All these things were unthinkable a few years back before I got started in this awesome industry. My wife used to hate me joining up in these deals, but she is pretty happy about it now.

I just want to let you know there is a better way out there, a better way to earn money, a better way to structure your earnings and expenditures, a better way to just live your life.

I have two main home based businesses that I highly recommend, they are working well for me, and they will work well for you.

Firstly is my Beachbody business that you can find out more about at http://glenmcdonald.biz

And secondly is a my online advertising business to learn more about this on click here http://bannersbroker.com/getfreewithglen

Or you can contact me via email at getfreewithglen@live.com

In closing I would like to say I hope the new round of cuts do not affect you or at least not too harshly if they do touch you. I hope you find some sound advice in my blog and take the bull by the horns and provide you and your family with the only true security and start your own business today.

What is the best way to secure your future?

Savings?

Some may say savings is the best way to plan for your retirement. I think it is better for the bank than for you. The way the banking system works with its fractional leverage rules, the more money you lock away in the bank the more money they can loan out at interest. The interest they pay you on your savings in marginal at best if at all. If you have too much money to through around and have made all the other types of investments, I guess you could throw some into savings. But I would question your sanity. In my opinion savings is the worst thing you can do with your money. The main reason is that a dollar put away today may only have a buying power of thirty cents twenty or thirty years from now. Savings are good for short term only, like saving up for a trip or a major purchase, stuff like that.

 A year from now

Investments?

If you have some money kicking around investments is a way better way to go. Buying an investment is a better way to start to leverage your money. Buy into mutual funds or GICs are a surer way to develop larger dividends on your surplus money. Or better yet is investing into real estate holdings, real estate holdings are good for long term investments as they produce income from tenants and typically property values rise about 2-3% a year so over twenty or thirty years you can have a nice little nest egg. The beauty of this program is that you can even leverage the equity to acquire more holding properties. If you were to do this as often as possible over twenty years you could have a nice portfolio to help with retirement.  Another popular investment is into a second business, typically a franchise so it can be as turn-key as possible for you as you’ll probably still have your regular job too.

So that is all good and even great if you already have some money to invest. But if you don’t! Then what? How do you get ahead? There is an industry that is just the perfect thing for people that do not the large sums of capital needed to get into the investments world. It is the industry known as direct marketing, referral marketing or network marketing. This is an awesome way for the average person to use time as the medium to leverage up till the money starts to flow in. You see the old adage time is money is truer than you think. If you have money you can save time and start to leverage it right away, however if you do not have money the only thing you can leverage is your time. You have to be willing to commit some time to get the marketing opportunity off the ground. Once you put in some time, some other people who have joined you will start to put time in too and now you have just leveraged time. Keep leveraging time till the money starts to flow in. Once that starts to happen you can now start to leverage time and money, and that is the start of freedom.

Referral marketing generally comes in two formats. One type is you talk to people and over time build a network of like minded people who are all working towards a common goal, these are generally referred to but not limited to MLM type companies. Highly lucrative and typically have a great longevity as you are building relationships with your people, and likewise so are they. The other type is more of a passive referral type business were you put out your offering and people you may or may not know will join up on the product or concept offering. They will stay to as long as they are making money and or using the products.

Hammock

I personally do a mix of both types. And so far I have better success with the first type of business model. But with that being sad I am just getting started with the latter business type. In closing I would say whatever business you decide to try, or both like I have, just grab something and get started. You will be glad you did! I know I am. Already!!

All the best to you.

Yaaa!! It’s RRSP time again!!

I don’t know about your country but in Canada our government tells us how much we can tuck away without penalty every year. They call this “YOUR maximum RRSP contribution”. What is an RRSP you ask? It is a Registered Retirement Savings Plan. Our government has the audacity to limit the amount of tax sheltered money you can put into there. This concept kind of blows me away on several fronts really.

Firstly, why should the government care how much you can tuck away into an RRSP? It is tax sheltered when you put the money in there and you can earn tax free interest (oh boy, let look that hefty rate up), it is definitely NOT tax exempt when you pull it out.

Secondly, who really in today’s current hand to mouth existence, for most people, who can afford to even put money into one these registered accounts. I know most of the people I can ask will say “No, I would like too but…..” So how effective is this program if most people can’t even take advantage of it.

There has to be a better way. And I believe there is. It is building and a second or even a third passive income stream. Everyone can do this if they are willing to put some effort in. That right there is the number one hurtle for most people when it comes to building a new income stream. They like the idea, the potential rewards, and if they can picture it go gaga about the lifestyle afforded to those that do do it. But for most people that is where it all comes to screeching halt. Sure they will look at the opportunity, they may even sign up for the program, but if they don’t want the results more than they want to be watching evening TV, they will not succeed. Simple as that.

There are lots of opportunities in every industry type imaginable. So picking one that is right for you is no problem. Everything is available from passive-no recruiting to typical MLM to home party type businesses out there. So just analyze your desires, what you would like to promote and get started. I am personally involved in a couple of opportunities, some passive and some not so passive but they are in various different industries.  If you would like to know about my interests other than my main one I promote here just drop me a message.

Either way I sincerely hope you find one that works for you, and more importantly you have the desire to achieve it over the desire for evening TV viewing. I can honestly tell you it is well worth it!

I cannot believe this. I could not imagine this happening, can you?

Work your life, forty five maybe fifty years and then you retire to enjoy your so called “Golden Years” and it is ripped away from you because you are still carrying debt with you!! I was saddened and maddened when I read that. What has our society come to when that the average person cannot make money enough in his or her working years that they have to manage a debt load in retirement? Thinking about that blew me away. I couldn’t imagine trying to pay down debt on forty percent of what I couldn’t live on when I was working. It is no wonder so many elderly people look so down trodden.

The article was talking numbers like, of the people not retired yet but are over fifty-five about two thirds of are still in debt. Half of all retirees are still on the hook for about twenty-five thousand dollars and one sixth of all retirees are owing a staggering one hundred thousand dollars or more. These are current stats Canada numbers here. It has me concerned for the generation coming up to retirement. If our parents couldn’t pull off retirement debt free and have a little buffer to keep them going and we are doing what they did how are we going to fair any better?

I have actually been concerned about it for a while now. I will not be a sad statistic we I am retired so I have decided to be pro-active. I am employing some strategies which are starting to pay off already. I have read some books that have taught me to be my own boss. There are definite advantages to risk and reward. You are either working on your goals and dreams or you are working on someone else’. But rest assured some ones retirement is going to be better because of your actions, the only question is who’s? Business ownership is the best and surest way to secure your future. Not all businesses are created equal and some are definitely better than others. All businesses allow for tax write offs, and let me tell you it is a lot better to pay for things with pre-tax dollars than after-tax dollars. But that is just the beginning.

Some businesses are very time consuming, and please don’t confuse self employment as a true business. I spent several years doing that, they are good and can be more lucrative than a typical job. While I was reading a book called the “Cash flow Quadrant” I realized that real business had to be independent of my efforts alone. Meaning that for true wealth and freedom into your golden years your business must be leveraged on the efforts of others. So how do we all get freedom if we have to gain our freedom on the backs of others, wont some people have to be poor so others can be rich? Well there actually is a business model where everyone can succeed. Enter referral marketing, direct selling or network marketing whatever you feel comfortable calling it. This industry allows for leverage to take place over time making it possible for people to enjoy true residual passive income well into their retirement years and even beyond.

The start up cost is typically very small, so most everybody can afford to get involved. The products and services are usually of a very high quality so that people will use them and continue to use them for years and years to come. The model is very simple find a product or service you can believe in and start to use it yourself and over time find others who will benefit from the use of these phenomenal products. As they start to use the products and share with people how great the products are the network starts to grow. As it grow so does your passive override commissions and as the products get used and re-ordered by a growing team of users and consumers so grows your residual income. But not just your income because everybody who joins is the head of their business they too are growing a leveraged income just like you. That is the best system out there in my mind to help everybody gain financial freedom. Team work makes the dream work!

I remember when I was a kid; I think it was a shampoo company that explained it the best. They showed a girl using their product and she liked and told two friends, and the TV screen split into two images. And then they told two friends and the screen split again, now four images and they told two and the screen images double again. Now let that happen again and again and again till there are a thousand people or more all using the products you introduced to first few people. And now imagine your are receiving a small override passive residual income off of all those sales no matter how big it grows for the lifetime of the company. That my friend is true wealth creation that is lifestyle freedom that is retirement. The only question is when do you get started and how fast do you want to get to retirement?

I am doing it and it is working great. I am, this spring, selling my conventional business because my networking business has been consistently paying me more and it is growing. I am really excited about my future and where it is taking me, I highly recommend to everyone they seriously check this fast growing industry out.

I have been wanting to post something cholesterol for awhile now. I know I have had lots of questions, what is good cholesterol, what is bad? What should I be looking for etc. I also wanted it to be easy to understand. While doing my research I came across this article. and I  liked the way it was written, wording is nice(my kind of style) and the information clean and in simple terms to understand.

So I figured instead of rewriting it I would give full credit to the original author Denis Faye, represent it here in it’s complete and original form.

So please enjoy this excellent and easy to understand report on Choleterol again courtesy of Denis Faye.

Ask the Expert: How Can I Improve My Cholesterol?

By Denis Faye

The truth is, cholesterol isn’t a bad thing. This fat (or lipid) plays a number of crucial roles in the body, including forming cell membranes; acting as a building block for many hormones; and helping to create bile acids, which help break down dietary fat.

It becomes a problem, however, when you have too much of it in your bloodstream. It can build up into a fatty substance called plaque that can restrict blood flow, causing heart disease.

Eggs

With this in mind, you’d think the logical solution would be to reduce your intake of cholesterol—animal-based foods such as eggs, shellfish, and other meat. Fortunately for you omelet fans out there, it doesn’t quite work that way. Dietary cholesterol is just a tiny part of your total cholesterol. Don’t fret, though. There are other ways to get your cholesterol in check, but before I share them with you, let’s geek out a little on how cholesterol works in your body.

The Nerdy Details on Cholesterol in Your Bloodstream

Most of your body’s tissues make the stuff, but your liver is particularly good at making it. So to shuttle that top-shelf cholesterol around, your liver also creates lipoprotein “taxicabs” made of protein and fat that transport cholesterol around the body via the bloodstream.

When a lipoprotein leaves the liver, it’s full of cholesterol to deliver to other body parts, where it’ll help build cells, among other activities. These lipoproteins are called low-density lipoproteins, or LDL. It’s called this because fat (including cholesterol) is less dense than protein. LDLs have a higher fat-to-protein ratio, making them less dense.

Once lipoprotein has delivered their cholesterol payload, the protein-to-fat ratio switches. This reversed ratio makes them denser, so they’re called high-density lipoprotein, or HDL. The job of HDLs is to sweep the bloodstream, picking up stray cholesterols and returning them to the liver.

Cholesterol becomes problematic when you have too many LDLs in your bloodstream. Excess cholesterol starts to break down improperly and results in a buildup of the aforementioned plaque. This is why, despite the fact that LDL does an important job in the body, it is often referred to as “bad cholesterol.” HDL, on the other hand, is referred to as “good cholesterol.”

What should my cholesterol be?

In truth, it’s not so much that you want to completely eradicate the “bad” and crank up the “good.” A better way to look at it is that you want a healthy balance of the two. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, your total cholesterol should ideally be below 200 milligrams (mg) per deciliter (dL) of blood. Ideal LDL is 100–129 mg/dL (lower for people at risk). HDL should be at least 60 mg/dL.

When you get bloodwork done, your “lipid profile” will also contain a number for triglycerides. These are another type of fat that the body uses for energy. I didn’t discuss them much in this article, but for the record, you want to keep that number below 150 mg/dL. If you’re looking to lower triglycerides, you can follow all the advice I’m about to give below.

Now, back to the original question . . .

The relationship between cholesterol intake and LDL levels shifts from person to person. It’s all a roll of the genetic dice. The human body can produce cholesterol itself, so—for most people—so many experts, including myself, don’t believe you need to deliberately include cholesterol in your diet. However, it doesn’t necessarily need to be completely avoided either. Some experts argue that some people require it in their diet because they are unable to synthesize it properly. And, for most of us, when we eat cholesterol, the body lowers its own production of it, so moderate amounts probably have little to no impact.

Following this logic, some dietary cholesterol is fine, provided it comes from quality sources. Think of it the same way you might think of simple carb consumption. Bananas, for example, are high in sugar, but their nutritional value makes up for that. Similarly, egg yolks are high in cholesterol, but they’re also very nutritious, so the good outweighs any possible bad, if it exists at all.

Aside from this, there are plenty of ways you can tweak your lifestyle to positively influence cholesterol, starting with a diet high in soluble fiber. Soluble fiber clings to dietary cholesterol and flushes it out of your system. You’ll get that from fresh fruits and veggies. Whole grains, particularly oats, also contain soluble fiber, but most people are too grain-reliant as is, so I think you’re better off targeting produce, where you’ll also get vitamins such as niacin, vitamin E, and vitamin C, as well as polyphenols, polysterols, and flavonoids, which have been shown to balance LDL and HDL levels.

You may also want to limit your sugar intake as mounting research, including a recent study in the Journal of the American Medical Association, links refined sugar to low HDL levels. It’s also well established that trans fat lowers HDL and raises LDL, so instead of avoiding the shrimp cocktail, stay away from sugary, fatty junk foods, particularly store-bought confections that use trans fat to prolong shelf life.

Over the years, various foods have been shown to help with cholesterol levels, including raw nuts and fish oil, due to the healthy fats, and green tea, due to the antioxidants. Moderate alcohol consumption has also been shown to raise HDLs, but if you don’t already drink, there’s no reason to start. There are plenty of other great, healthy foods to hedge your bets with.

Beyond Diet

Don’t limit yourself to just perfecting your diet. Exercise has been shown to have a profound positive effect on cholesterol levels. On the other hand, smoking has been shown to have a severe negative effect.

The role cholesterol plays in your body may seem complex, but the good news is that getting it under control is fairly simple, at least in concept. As usual, a whole-foods, predominantly fruit-and-veggie diet can work wonders for your HDLs, your LDLs, and any other DLs that might come your way.

The easier way to get all the right fruit and vegetables everyday.

Childhood Obesity! Scarier Than We Thought.

It is really sad, appalling actually, that this is even happening. I cannot believe the title of my blog. It bereaves me to think that we, as the adult, have let this happen to the younger generation, our own children.

It has been written that this generation is the first generation in the history of mankind to have an expected shorter life span than it predecessors.  Can you believe this? We as the parents of this generation have allowed this to happen. Our actions, or better yet lack thereof, have made it possible for our children to die on average at a younger age than us. How do you like that one?

Childhood obesity is the culprit.  That is the nasty reason that this is predicted, by several medical studies, to actually happen. So who is responsible? Government? Big business? The gaming and television producers? Us? If you went with the last choice you are correct. You see, we are the parents still in this situation. We have bought the food and snacks our children have eaten. We have bought the entertainment systems they amuse themselves with for hours a day, every day! We have even lead by example.

How serious is the problem? The problem is really serious, major scientific research has proven the link between childhood obesity and major ailments typically consider to be adult obesity medical problems. This study states that researchers found in comparison to kids who are not overweight, obese children have been found to be at nearly twice the risk of having three or more reported medical, mental or developmental conditions. This  study also found that overall, obese children were more likely than those who were not overweight to have been reported to suffer from “poorer health, more disability, a greater tendency toward emotional and behavioral problems, higher rates of grade repetition, missed school days and other school problems, ADHD, conduct disorder, depression, learning disabilities, developmental delays, bone, joint and muscle problems, asthma, allergies, headaches, and ear infections.”

Isn’t that devastating? That we as the parents of this generation have allowed this to happen to our younger generation, the beauty is we can fix it. We need to change what our kids are consuming on a daily bases. We need to lead by example. We need to cut back on the number of sugary drinks we allow our children to consume in a day. We have to start providing a good source of nutrition for our children every day. We need to stay away from fast foods and processed convenience foods as much as possible. Do that stuff as a treat (yuck) not as a staple of their diets. Make sure that at least one full serving of fruits and vegetables are eaten every day. And we need to show them that a certain amount of daily physical activity is good for them. And in so doing we too will get into better shape. If we do these things we will be able to turn this around not only for them but for us too.

If you can’t find or afford good quality natural food find a high quality supplement that you and your children can consume daily. If you cut out the sugar drinks and the fast food meals you will easily be able to provide the quality products needed for good nutrition and health. Exercise is easy too, just get out and be active with your kids it does have to be an expensive sport just getting out and having fun is all that is needed.

I read an interesting article last night. It was about the perils of working out. The story was published to help people who have decided to get into shape this year as part of their New Year’s resolution. If you are one the millions of out of shape people out there that made that very resolution you may want to continue reading.

So firstly, we should clarify that the decision to get into shape is a very good idea. It is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family. However, one needs to be careful, don’t want anybody getting hurt trying to get fit. I am not talking about aches and pains or bumps and bruise either. This article talked of a serious but very treatable potential kidney problem cause by the sudden workouts done in the context of good future health without due consideration of one current conditioning.

Let me explain, most of us have been very inactive since we left school. I mean be honest, when is the last time you played in an organized sports program, run in a race, rode a bike or even went for a brisk walk? Five years ago? Ten years ago? Even longer than that? Then all of a sudden over New Year’s out of the blue, you decide you’re an athlete and are going to hit the weights, start running or riding a bicycle. Well guess what, your body may not agree with you.

Apparently, as we hit our new regime full speed ahead we are potentially causing our bodies to react to this sudden fitness craze in a negative way. It can cause a condition known as Rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis is a condition that can affect your kidneys. The symptoms generally associated with Rhabdomyolysis according to Health Canada, can include muscle pain, weakness, tenderness, fever, dark urine, nausea, and vomiting. In severe cases, Rhabdomyolysis can lead to kidney failure and be life-threatening. I am not trying to scare you off of exercise. Not in the least, however, I am cautioning you to ease into your new program. If it has been awhile since you have been active at all I would strongly recommend a visit your physician to discuss your fitness and dietary plans prior to starting.

I have eased myself into my programs, some may say I am still easing my way along, but you know what I have made a lifestyle adjustment so I have the rest of life to do what I do and I am a firm believer that slow and steady wins the race. I would recommend a free app for your Smartphone called couch to five kilometer. It is a very nice program to take you from your couch to running five kilometers in six weeks. I highly recommend it. Another awesome program if you haven’t done much exercise over the years is Thai Cheng by Beachbody, it is designed to be very low impact and focus on full and proper range of motion. I would so recommend just walking to get your body moving. You need to take small safe steps and then gradually but consistently increase duration and intensity as your body gets in better shape.

Always remember there is absolutely no benefit in hurting yourself. The best way to start a program is to get some form of instructional videos and follow along as best you can. It is even more beneficial if you can get at least one person to do it with you, that way you have a support buddy and also someone to hold you accountable. There are many to choose from, I personally like and use the programs provided by Beachbody as they offer complete programs from exercise to nutrition as well exceptional customer support via their exclusive coaching program.

So in closing I would like to say by all means please for yourself and for those you love and who love you get yourself back into shape, but do it right. Do it with care and caution, but do it consistently. All the best to you in your personal goals and if I can be of assistance in any way please do not hesitate to ask.
